With all the snow that fell in Fort Collins and Windsor this winter, it’s very important that you remove Snow Mold from your lawn if it is present. Snow Mold can be visible in patches of your lawn that look dead or diseased. These patches typically look grey, and can be found where snow laid for a very long time during this recent, heavy winter.
Also, if you had patches of leaves that were laying around in the winter, you most likely have snow mold because leaves hold the moisture under them giving this icky mold a chance to grow rampantly.
